[Zelda: Links Backyard]

Great

I love it, but it is great thanks to the Zelda graphic, animation and sound. What about a copyright?
Good coding did not make a good game, unfortunately :)

Great art techniques, but...

If you do not really know something about scripting, do not teach other people bad habbits. We are in AS 3 era, an your examples is still using AS 1 syntax.

Looks great

I am looking forward to see the finished game :) I would love to play it using flash lite - but i do not know if it is possible.
I noticed a bug - hero get stuck near the fountain.

Well executed.

This game is well executed, but i really do not like the gameplay. It was rather annoying than funny for me - basicly the 'creature' was hard to controll, even when doing simplest tasks.

Yeah - like i said to the guy below - it takes a bit of getting used to -but then so does the psp game. once you get the hang you can be pretty accurate though

Good game

I can see the amount of work it took to create it, but something is lacking.

The game keept me playing for 2 minutes, with no desire for more. The graphic uses 3D, but there is really a lack of design. And the usage of 3d in the gameplay is unnoticable - as well it could be an isometric 2D.

And infantry on segways - lol ;)

But amount of work to make the engine working, and AI programming is impressive.

Coding a tetris is not a difficult task...

In fact, for not specially skilled programmer, coding an engine should take less than 1 workday, connecting it to the sound and graphic is second one.

Beside this i do really do not like gore in games, and this one have nothing more to offer, so my rating is not to high.

Game is great. It reminds me the Donkey Kong an other great games for my NES.

It is as 2.0 or as 1.0 ?

I never used as 1.0, so i dont know if you shold start using as 2.0, or you just use obsolete instrunctions (like "on(release)" instead of myButton.onRelease ).
I dont know if anyone should find it helpfull, because when you lern, you should lern the right way from the beggining.
In my opinion you should lern more yourself, then think about teaching others.

lve never used as 1.0 either everything there is for as 2.0 lm sure quite a few could find it usefull. l still find things here that are useful in other animations that l am doing.

Nice little game

My suggestion is, that you should make hitting an egg a little easier, because it is frustrating now when the glove misses it a little bit (or even hit it with edge), and the egg keeps rolling.
